India Business Start-Up Process Mapping and Simplification

The objective of this assignment is to map and re-engineer existing business start-up processes in India.

We worked to simplify government to businesses processes by addressing the deficiencies in various procedures in various government agencies at the regional level.

 

In Rajasthan State, India, we mapped and reengineered the following processes:

  • Medium and large industrial electrical connection
  • Getting electrical load sanction
  • Transformer, electrical motors, equipment & DG set permission
  • Registration and approval for setting up of solar power projects in the state
  • Conversion of land use in rural areas, and conversion of agricultural land for non-agricultural purposes in rural areas
  • Dairy license in the Municipal Corporation/Council/Board
  • License for food manufacture, store, and sell in the Municipal Corporation/Council/Board area
  • Unipole license in the Municipal Corporation/Council/Board
  • Small industries license in the Municipal Corporation/Council/Board
  • Advertisement license in the Municipal Corporation/Council/Board
  • Hotel and restaurant license
  • Fire NOC
  • Building plan approval
  • Land conversion
  • Approval of housing colonies
  • Approval of sub division/reconstitution of plots
  • Regularisation and conversion of agricultural land
  • Compounding of unauthorized colonies
  • Transfer of name
  • Allotment of institutional land
