Yemen OFDA and FFP Monitoring Project (YOFMP) Third Party Monitoring

Yemen OFDA and FFP Monitoring Project (YOFMP) Third Party Monitoring

YOFMP Third Party Monitoring is an ongoing project that provides Yemen OFDA and FFP Monitoring Project (YOFMP) with third-party monitoring of and reporting about humanitarian activities in Yemen that are funded by Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and Office of Food for Peace (FFP) within USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA). This project responds to the needs of both OFDA and FFP for independent, accurate and first-hand evidence about how the activities they fund in Yemen perform. The tasks of this project aim to increase accountability, as well as improve program learning within and among the IP teams.

For eight months, Apex conducts approximately 13 site visits each month to a range of OFDA and FFP-funded project sites across all governorates of Yemen, and regularly submits reports that measure progress in project-defined outputs and activities.  The goal is that OFDA and FFP are better informed in their decision-making to achieve effective, sustainable, and efficient portfolios and impact.

In executing this project, Apex provides third-party field monitoring of activities and verification of outputs as part of YOFMP for the duration of the contract (January 2017 to August 2017), as per the agreed tasks, deliverables and budget.
